Uses of medication: Etanercept injection, supplied generically under the brand Etacept is a biologic tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blocker commonly used to manage and treat autoimmune conditions. It is a soluble receptor, designed to bind both TNF-alpha and TNF-beta to inhibit the inflammatory response in joints and skin that is characteristic of these autoimmune disorders. Warnings and Precautions
