  • Opened bottles of Nitisinone 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg capsules should be stored for 3 months at room temperature (not more than 25°C); then discarded.

Interactions: The use of nitisinone with medications that are metabolized by the CYP2C9, additional and watchful monitoring can be warranted because of the potential for the increased systemic exposure of these medications. The risk is dependent upon the particular 2C9 substrate and the profile of its adverse reaction.

Overdose: In an event of taking too much drug (nitisinone), immediately call your doctor, or contact the regional Poison Control Centre or nearest hospital emergency department, even if there are no signs and symptoms.

Missed Dose: If you miss a dose by less than 12 hours, take it as soon as you remember.
