Description
Uses of medication: Rifagut is a rifamycin antibacterial medication recommended for use in the treatment of:
- Traveler’s diarrhea caused by the noninvasive strains of the Escherichia coli.
- Hepatic encephalopathy in adults.
- Irritable bowel syndrome is caused by diarrhea.
Dosage: This drug is available in a tablet form of two different concentrations that is 200 mg and 550 mg. The drug is taken according to the doctor’s prescription and the course of the treatment must be completed without any interruption. In a drug overdose situation, discontinue rifagut and immediately call your healthcare providers in order to seek medical attention.

- Peripheral edema
- Nausea
- Headache
- Dizziness
- ALT increased
- Fatigue
- Ascites
- Vomiting
- Blurred Vision
