LENVIMA is indicated for
- Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC): is a single agent for patients with locally recurrent or metastatic, progressive, radioactive iodine-refractory DTC.
- Renal Cell Cancer (RCC): in combination with everolimus, for patients with advanced RCC following one prior anti-angiogenic therapy.
What is Lenvatinib used for?
Lenvima is an anti-cancer medication, approved by the FDA for the treatment of certain specific types of Thyroid Cancer. This medication works as a Multiple Kinase Inhibitor. It used in the treatment of people with Differentiated Thyroid Cancer. DTC (Differentiated Thyroid Cancer) could be at the stage of Progressive, Recurrent, or Metastatic stage. It is also used to treat Renal Cell Carcinoma with the combination of Everolimus, following by one prior anti-angiogenic therapy.
Dosage
To be ambivalent about taking Lenvima, you should take this medication as your healthcare provider recommended. You should swallow an entire pill once daily at the same time each day. Do not stop or start any dose of this medication by yourself until your doctor tells you.
