Xeljanz indicated to use in the treatment of adults with severe or moderately active rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and ulcerative colitis. This medication can be also used as a monotherapy. Or it could be used with the combination of nonbiological DMARD`s (Disease Modifying Anti-rheumatic Drugs) and methotrexate.
How dangerous is Xeljanz?
Excess doses of this medication may lead someone towards certain cancer such as Lymphoma. Its high dose directly affects the immune system that`s the reason the risk of having cancer may increase. Also, this medication has severe side effects include Liver damage, severe infections, gastrointestinal bleeding, increased cholesterol and blood pressure Etc.
