Warning & Precautions

• Patients should be monitored for the complete blood counts as well as platelet counts while taking clofarabine 20 mg therapy.
• Patients should be monitored for platelets as well as coagulation parameters and should be treated accordingly.
• Monitor patients for the symptoms of infection; interrupt clolar 20 mg injection and patients should be treated promptly.
• Instruct patients that nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea may occur with this medication. If these occur, they must ask for medical attention.
• Clolar should be discontinued if hypotension develops during the 5 days of administration.
• Renal and hepatic function should be monitored during the 5 days of administration of clolar injection.
• Patients with medicines known to affect blood pressure should be monitored for cardiac function during use of this drug.
• Fetal harm can occur when used by a pregnant woman. Women must be instructed to avoid becoming pregnant while on clofarabine injection.
• Female patients should be advised in order to not breast-feed while on treatment with this injection.

Storage and Handling: Store Clofarabine Injection at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Store diluted admixtures at room temperature but should be used within 24 hours of preparation.
