What is Enzalutamide, and how is it used?
It belongs to the androgen receptor inhibitor class drug used in the treatment of prostate cancer. It is used in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer who have at least received one private docetaxel therapy. This medicine is used to treat castrate-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), a stage where prostate cancer keeps growing even when there are very low testosterone levels in the body.
