Uses of Abiraterone Acetate

Xbira is an FDA approved medicine indicated to use in the treatment of male patients with Prostate Cancer. Abiraterone Acetate is a CYP17 inhibitor to use with the combination of prednisone to treat the patient with CSPC (Metastatic High-Risk Castration Sensitive Prostate Cancer) and CRPC (Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer).

Xbira Dosage

Take the dose of abiraterone acetate as your doctor tells you. Take your recommended dose of this medication one time a day. Your doctor may interrupt the dose if needed, accordingly to your health condition.

Xbira (Abiraterone Acetate 250 mg) Side effects

Sometimes this medication may leave fewer common side effects, which might be:

  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Arthralgia
  • Leg Cramps
  • Hypertension
  • Swelling in Legs & Arms
  • Low level of potassium in blood serum

Also, some severe side effects may occur in the form of:
