What is Zoledronic Acid Injection?

Zoledronic Acid (Zoldria) is a bisphosphonate drug, indicated for the treatment of:

  • Hypercalcemia of malignancy.
  • Bone breakdown due to cancer
  • Osteoporosis
  • Paget’s disease of bone

Zoledronic Acid side effects:

The most common reported adverse reactions are as follows:

  • Nausea
  • Fatigue
  • Anaemia
  • Bone pain
  • Constipation
  • Fever
  • Vomiting
  • Dyspnea.
